President

Krista Mitchell, Performance Results Corporation

Krista served as the President-Elect for PY09-10 and automatically moves into the Chapter President role for PY10-11.  Her goal is to continue providing a strong contribution to the Chapter to accomplish positive change for all members.  She likes a challenge and promises to “strive to provide the Chapter with consistent meetings, schedule speakers on a variety of topics, and do what she can to increase membership and member attendance.”  Krista hopes to bring awareness of NCMA and the Contract Management profession to the college students in our area, as well as expanding the exposure of the Chapter to other supplemental fields. 

 

President-Elect

Amy Beaudry, Azimuth Incorporated

Amy earned her Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University in 1998.  She is a highly trained and credentialed government and commercial sector senior manager who has earned designation as both an NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) and a PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).  Amy is also a skilled facilitator and a trained mediator.  Amy has fifteen (15) years' experience in government and commercial contract management, having most recently served as one of two Senior Contract Negotiators for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation's WorldWide Sales Division.  Amy has been a member of the North Central West Virginia Chapter of the National Contract Management Association since 1995.  Amy has previously served the NCMA North Central West Virginia Chapter as Co-Chair on several of the various sub-committees.

 

Secretary

Arria Whiston, Allegheny Science & Technology

Arria is an accomplished program manager and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience

in program management, project control, and operations management. Prior to starting up

Allegheny Science & Technology, she was a key strategic contributor at SAIC as Director of Programs, providing management oversight for an operation exceeding $120M in annual revenue. Her project management experience ranges from software/systems engineering to the construction of an 18-hole Arnold Palmer designed golf course. Leveraging extensive skills in business and project planning and execution, Arria has positioned Allegheny Science & Technology to provide customers the resources they need to excel. As a PMI certified Program Manager, she has developed a broad range of personal skills—from Earned Value Management to risk analysis and mitigation. Arria holds a BS in Accounting from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a MBA from West Virginia University.

 

Treasurer

Ron Show, Toothman Rice, PLLC

Ron is currently the Chapter Treasurer.  He has been in the accounting field for over 20 years.  He has experience in the field of Non-Profit and Government contracting accounting.  Over the last 15 years, Ron has supervised audit engagements and special projects in the field of Government contracting providing him with a unique insight of DCAA and Government requirements.  Under his term, the Chapter has had successful audits of all financial records, with no findings cited.
