Chapter Information
For 22 years, the Northern West Virginia Chapter of
NCMA has been working to advance the
contract management profession. Charted
on October 8, 1986, the Chapter
currently has over 60 members covering
the cities of Weirton, Wheeling,
Parkersburg, Morgantown, Fairmont,
Clarksburg, down to Charleston, WV.
The Chapter has achieved an exceptional record of
performance, participation, and
contribution to its members, the
community, and the contract profession.
The Chapter holds regular meetings for
networking and educational activities as
well as sponsors a scholarship program
and a National Educational Seminar (NES)
each year.
The goal of the Northern West Virginia Chapter of NCMA is:
To advance the profession of contact management and to enhance the effectiveness and professionalism of the
Chapter, its members, and the contracting community.
Principles and Objectives of the Northern West Virginia Chapter of NCMA are:

To attract knowledgeable persons in the field.

To provide a uniform code of ethics and standards for those engaged in the field of contract management.

To provide a recognized forum for members to share in the widest range of experience and knowledge represented by
the Chapter’s membership as a whole.

To introduce new literature, ideas, and improvements in the realm of contract management.

To encourage an increasingly professional attitude toward the procurement and contract management
professions.
